The current cost of a standard colour TV Licence is £169.50 per year. A black and white TV Licence costs £57.00 per year.

You need a TV Licence if you watch or record live TV on any channel, or use BBC iPlayer. If you only use on-demand services other than iPlayer, you do not need a licence.
