General Terms and Conditions
1. Definitions
- "Service" refers to the TV Licence intermediary service provided by TV Licence Support.
- "Customer" refers to any individual or business using our service.
- "Application" refers to any request submitted through our platform, including new licences, renewals, updates, cancellations, and declarations.
- "Service Fee" refers to the £19.95 charge per request for our processing service.
2. Nature of Service
TV Licence Support acts as an independent intermediary. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to TV Licensing, the BBC, or any government body. Our role is to assist customers with the administrative process of managing their TV Licence.
Customers are not obligated to use our service and may manage their TV Licence directly through official channels at no additional cost beyond the licence fee.
3. Service Fee and Payment
Our service fee of £19.95 is charged per application or request. This fee covers:
- Processing and handling of your application
- Guided assistance through the application process
- Customer support related to your application
- Submission of your application on your behalf
Payment can be made via Direct Debit or bank transfer. The service fee is separate from and in addition to any standard TV Licence fees.
4. Customer Responsibilities
Customers are responsible for:
- Providing accurate, complete, and truthful information
- Ensuring all details submitted are correct before confirmation
- Paying the service fee in a timely manner
- Notifying us of any changes to their information
5. Processing Times
We aim to process all applications within 3–7 working days. Processing times may vary depending on the type of service requested and the completeness of information provided. We are not responsible for delays caused by incomplete or inaccurate information.
6. Cancellation and Refunds
Customers have the right to cancel their application within 14 days of submission, subject to the following conditions:
- If processing has not yet commenced, a full refund of the service fee will be provided
- If processing has commenced, the service fee is non-refundable
- Refund requests must be made through our contact form
7. Data Protection
We process personal data in accordance with applicable data protection legislation. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for full details on how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.
8. Limitation of Liability
TV Licence Support shall not be liable for any loss or damage arising from the use of our service, except where such liability cannot be excluded by law. We do not guarantee the outcome of any application submitted through our service.
9. Governing Law
These general terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
